Bitinauts offers a unique feature of personalizing the AI capabilities of your astronaut NFT. This involves customizing the 'temperature' for creativity control and limiting the response length with tokens.

Changes to your Bitinaut's settings won't affect its underlying identity or its visual representation; these adjustments only affect the AI's behavior during interactions.

Adjusting AI Creativity with 'Temperature'

The 'temperature' parameter is a critical element in defining how your Bitinaut behaves. This parameter determines the randomness of the AI's output, offering a range of possibilities for your Bitinaut's creative expression.

The temperature setting exists on a scale from 0 to 1:

• Lower values (closer to 0) make the output more focused and deterministic, resulting in more consistent and predictable responses.

• Higher values (closer to 1) introduce more randomness into the output, making the Bitinaut more creative, with diverse and sometimes surprising responses.

Adjusting the temperature allows you to control your Bitinaut's personality. For example, a Bitinaut set with a high temperature could generate adventurous, creative, and sometimes unpredictable responses, while a Bitinaut with a lower temperature setting could come across as more serious and straightforward.

Managing Tokens for Response Length

Tokens in OpenAI's models, including GPT-3.5 Turbo, represent chunks of text. A token can be as short as one character or as long as one word (e.g., 'a', 'apple', 'ChatGPT'). The total number of tokens in a model's input and output affect both the cost of an API call and how long it takes.

By customizing the token count, you can effectively manage the length of your Bitinaut's responses:

• Limiting tokens could lead to shorter, more concise responses from your Bitinaut.

• Allowing for more tokens could result in longer, more detailed responses.

Keep in mind, however, that very long conversations may exceed the model's maximum token limit (4096 tokens for GPT-3.5 Turbo). If a conversation exceeds this limit, you'll need to truncate, omit, or shrink the text until it fits.

1. Click on the "Settings" button: This is where you can find the controls to adjust the temperature and token count for your Bitinaut. The "Settings" button is conveniently located within the Bitinauts platform interface.

2. Adjust the temperature and token count: Use the sliders or input fields to specify your desired values.

3. Save your settings: Once you're happy with the adjustments, don't forget to save them. The changes are saved and applied immediately, subtly influencing your Bitinaut's communication style and length.

By adjusting these settings, you can enjoy a unique and tailored interaction with your Bitinaut, adding another dimension to the NFT owning experience.
